I change the Markup based on current AH undercutting. If I set to 100% the price is equal to the materials used for production therefor every undercut to follow will cost more than the shards used to produce it. Shard value I change to the current market price as well for more accuracy. On average I keep it to 100 give or take so that I can associate that with production cost. Every item sold is taxed at .05% its price as well is included in a final profit.
Wish I could come up with something like this to figure out how to make some gil. I know I could work the market but it always seems like I'm spending more than I'm making on crafts. Maybe I'm doing the whole thing wrong…
Spend the time to gather every material you need yourself so everything but shards is pure profit. Most crafters are lazy and buy the materials so their prices need to be higher to make a profit. Gathering yourself allows you to lower your prices below their minimum break even prices.
"Listen but closely Brothers, for my life's breath is all but spent. There shall come a time far from now when our Chapter itself is dying, even as I am now dying, and our foes shall gather to destroy us. Then my children, I shall listen for your call in whatever realm of death holds me, and come I shall, no matter what the laws of life and death forbid. At the end I will be there. For the final battle. For the Wolftime."
In the dark recesses of the mind, a disease known as fear feasts upon the souls of those who cannot overcome its power and so fear is forced deep within the soul of a hero. Conquered, at least, for now.
