Phase 1:
  • Add Spawn. If Add is too close, it will tether to the boss, giving buffs to them.
  • 1 Tank, 1 Healer, 1 DD marked for Blackflames and drop them where target is standing
  • Marked targets does AoE damage around them
  • At the end of AoE, Whiteflames negate Blackflames and puts a debuff on them allowing DDs to do damage

Phase 2:
  • Chain of Purgatory marks a target with a green debuff, first target unknown(?). Possibly Healer first. People are currently passing Chain of Purgatory to Healers.
  • Add will spawn
  • Phoenix will begin casting "Flames of Unforgiveness" green marker. Halfway past the cast, Chain of Purgatory explodes, causing AoE damage and passing it to the nearest target inside of AoE damage range. See far below about "Arm of Purgatory".
  • Previous Chain of Purgatory target will explode causing damage.
  • Redfire (same as Raven's Beak) will hit the Main Tank for massive damage
  • After Redfire is cast, a Fireball will tether a target (possibly furthest target?) and move towards that target and explode (AoE damage).
  • Fireball CAN be intercepted by another player.
  • Revelation: Massive Tank damage.
  • Iceball will target a person and have a diamond marker around target. Target has to move out of the group to "drop" the AoE field away from party. AoE field will explode.

Arm of Purgatory- This is part of the Flames of Unforgiveness, Chain of Purgatory combo. I'm not entirely sure what this does. It's a debuff and we'll have to figure this out. Videos are not very clear about what to do about this and a healer DID say, "I have debuff".

I am thinking that if you have Arm of Purgatory (red marker), you cannot be part of the Chain passing anymore OR you take massive damage from -something-. Phase 4 has a situation with Arm of Purgatory and Tank Swapping.

Add Phase: 50-55% - Similar to Second Add Phase of Turn 10
  • Flames of Rebirth - Slow cast Party Damage. Gives stacking buff to Phoenix.
  • Four adds are spawned, LOTS of HP.
  • Flames of Rebirth continues to cast as long as phase is up.
  • Adds will occasionally cast poison.
  • Killing small add will spawn a bigger add.
  • Must kill 8 adds in total?

Rebirth is cast once all adds are dead.
Boss has a green buff.

Phase 3:
  • Chain of Purgatory - Given to Off Tank(?). Don't know why this instead of Healers like Phase 2.
  • TANK SWAP - Swap on Arm of Purgatory. Main Tank MUST be CLEAR of this buff.
  • Fountain of Fire - AoE on the ground. Must damage to destroy.
  • Stepping into Fountain of Fire give a stacking debuff. People are getting out of it after 2.
  • People HAVE to be in Fountain of Fire to prevent it from giving a Buff to Phoenix.
  • Mini-Phoenix - Two(?) randomly spawn on the map, tethering a player each. It will fly off in the direction of the tether, causing damage to everyone in between. Then they will do a LANDSLIDE DASH. It does NOT push players back.

    1. Tether targets.
    2. Then landslide targets.

Phase 4: 30%

  • Flames of Rebirth in the beginning of Phase 4. Party damage!!
  • Plumes. Tons of them on the ground. Same as Ifrit.
  • Mini-Phoenix: Same from Phase 3. Theres like 6 of them now.
  • Fountain of Flames
  • Mini-Phoenix: Same from Phase 3. 2 or 4 of them? They're a little faster.
  • Arm of Purgatory / Flames of Unforgiveness: Tank Swap.
  • Flames of Rebirth - Party Damage
  • Revelation

The pattern repeats. Every other Flames of Rebirth is Plumes.
