Don't underestimate Eos the amount of healing that fairy can pump out with rouse+ whispering dawn is significant. Plus for situations like megaflare Sacred Soil + Fey Covenant coupled with Fey Illumination + mantra + succor will result in greatly reduced damage taken by the group as a whole.Filtiarne Elite

My point with Eos is that people are reliant on her healing then DPSing the whole fight or people die because they rely to much on their fairy and are not really healing themselves.

If you want to DPS the whole time fine, but be able to DPS and balance your healing to keep your PT alive.

I feel Selene is a better fairy for endgame use because you shouldn't be focusing on beefing up your DPS capabilities by relying on Eos's heals you should be beefing up your parties and Selene's Skill/Spell Speed is doing that and the better fairy imo.

EDIT: On Megaflare with a Sacred Soil + Succor + WHM Medica II recovery should have no more need then that rotation.

I keep selene out for most of the fight I just switch to eos for situations like that. It saves the whm a shitload of mp because they don't need to SS 7 people and Eos's regen will last through the megaflare and passed heavens fall to bring the party back up to full hp. Plus I'm switching to cleric stance with selene out when its safe. I.E after iron chariot/during lunar dynamo/ while the tank has HG up for tanking the ghost.

To make a macro for Bio 2 - or anything that is 2 - 3 - 4 - 5 etc. you will need to put it into quotation marks.

We don't struggle with MP, so I guess it really isn't a problem to do it the way we are doing it currently. You're way may work for you in your group, fine, but our way works for us. Seems like you're posting for the sake of argument rather then accepting that not every SCH plays the way you do.

I've always stated in my guide and responses this is based off how I PLAY, but you don't have to follow it play-by-play it just gives you a good running start.

I have to agree with Kirana on this one - from my experience at least, eos buffs going out would only be a very small gain and there's so much more that we we need to worry about during that transition, and having your swiftcast up is huge. I probably use swiftcast very often on heals rather than save for resses. Thing is, at the end of golem phase, both healers will be at full mana anyway, and medica II will be going out regardless of which pet you have out on the floor, so you're not technically saving your whm any mana.

I dropped surecast for aero. xD But I will probably pick it up again, at least until I get some more accuracy on my gear so that I don't have to worry about that dumb aero spell missing so much xD. Surecast can work on parts like T7 when you have cursed voice and it's about to go off and you need to land a heal. Cursed Voice going off interrupts your casting. i.e. very situational and hardly ever. xD

Yeah, Surecast is pretty situational. It's nice for Leviathan's two hour and Twintania's Fireball bullshit.

I use surecast for the same reason flea does. It is just comforting to know it's there if I encounter a situation it saves my party. It also doesn't cost mp. I don't know just my preference, but hey what ever works for you white.
