I like Eos, but also I don't, and here's why:

1. In a Progression party she's a great tool for getting in there and learning the fight, the added survivability she brings to the table helps your team hang in there just a bit longer to see more mechanics and get into the swing of things, HOWEVER, we all know that fights are so DPS intensive that you want to be able to squeeze out every inch of DPS that you can to push phases and whatnot, so with Selene available to you, there's absolutely no reason for you not to be utilizing her buffs in order to help your team get that extra damage out that they need.
2. Now speaking in terms of a farm party, people have just a bit better gear now and life isn't as tough anymore as it once was in the fight, well there's no reason to use Eos anymore, Selene all the way.

So far in the new turns I've found places where Eos is very useful:

Turn 11: Right after the adds phase to prebuff the raid in preparation for the raidwide aoe, then immediately re-summon Selene during the stack up for gaseous.
Turn 12: Adds phase where Phoenix is spam casting Flames of Rebirth.

I try not to keep Eos out for longer than I really need her, I want the group to maximize as much as possible and Selene can help with that.

- BiS Updated - I think Filt posted a Sch BiS somewhere on the forums that I remember looking at.

As far as new turns goes, all I can say is OMG MANA. Give me anything with Piety please and ty. I've been switching some gear around to sacrifice spell speed for Piety. Determination is still high on the priority list with Crit being at the top obviously, followed by Piety(in my opinion for my playstyle), and finally spell speed. I burn through my mana and and always pop around 2 X-Ethers per fight.

I agree the PIE is a more desired stat in the Final Coils and I will make one alteration to my BiS in regards to the gloves.

http://xivdb.com/?item/8914/Augmented-Ironworks-Gloves-of-Healing or http://xivdb.com/?item/8981/Dreadwyrm-Gloves-of-Healing

are both excellent selections for your SCH it is really up to ones personal preference you either take the MP boost or the DET boost.

Race: Hyur Highland Female

With http://xivdb.com/?item/8914/Augmented-Ironworks-Gloves-of-Healing your stats WITHOUT FOOD are as follows:
MND: 577
ACC: 399
CRIT: 534
DET: 238
Spell Speed: 392
VIT: 437 (5,192 HP)
PIE: 398

From the pieces I've selected you are already gaining quiet a bit of PIE and to sacrifice more DET is not something I would do for more PIE. So I'll stand by my BiS for now.

Thanks for your input Yukari it is always a pleasure to compare and bounce ideas off of you.

What are you doing to burn though so much MP? I have less than 4k on my sch and only have issues if I need to raise multiple people and even then I don't run completely dry. I've been using mind pots to throw DPS in T10-11 so far rather than ethers and I'm using crit/det food. You should open up ACT and look at your spell usage % after a long fight. On average only 3-5% of my total casts are Adloquium. I only use it when big damage is coming like critical rip, secondary head and a single tank eating a cleave.
"Listen but closely Brothers, for my life's breath is all but spent. There shall come a time far from now when our Chapter itself is dying, even as I am now dying, and our foes shall gather to destroy us. Then my children, I shall listen for your call in whatever realm of death holds me, and come I shall, no matter what the laws of life and death forbid. At the end I will be there. For the final battle. For the Wolftime."

In the dark recesses of the mind, a disease known as fear feasts upon the souls of those who cannot overcome its power and so fear is forced deep within the soul of a hero. Conquered, at least, for now.
